Jeremiah 15:16 – Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by Your name, O Lord, God of Hosts.

While I was born and raised in the quiet town of Perkasie PA, I found and married my wonderful wife, Melyssa, in South Carolina while attending Bob Jones University. We stayed in South Carolina for a few more years while I began seminary and graduate work there. Together we took the advice of Shakespeare who declared that “the world must be peopled” and have added to our number four boys who continue to be a source of great joy to us. We love the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies and enjoy a Flyers or Sixers game now and again.  Some of the authors I enjoy reading the most are D. A. Carson, John Piper, John Owen, Jerry Bridges, Francis Schaeffer, David Wells, as well as many others. Besides my love of sports and reading, you should know just a few other things: I am a happy follower of King Jesus by faith, I love the five solas of the reformation, and I am far from a finished product!

My heartbeat as a pastor is to declare and display the glorious gospel of our gracious God in Christ Jesus in word and in deed. I am deeply committed to the primacy of the Word of God and believe that it will continue to shape and give life and vitality to our church and community for many years to come.
